Your local phone directory would be the first place to look. Look up heating or fireplace or something like that and then just call them and ask about pellet stoves. If they are a dealer of the stoves you will be able to tell by how quickly and in depth they answer your questions.

You can start looking at a Home Depot or perhaps Lowes or even a local hardware store. The ideal place is a dealer that deals with only pellet stoves. That way you know you are talking with someone that has a grasp of the subject.
