Whitfield Pellet Stoves: The Original
I
have a question for you. Who had the original pellet stove? You guessed it. Whitfield pellet stoves have been around since 1984. They had the
first residential pellet stove. Since then the pellet stove craze has taken the country by storm and over 800,00 homes are heated with them.
Whitfield had its own company but due to success it is
now a part of the larger Lennox Hearth Products Group and they currently offer two models which are called Cascade and
Profile.
Cascade prides itself on a system that keeps the glass
clean so you can view the fireplace without obstruction and a system that blows the warm air out into your room. It offers a more efficient
burn than the other model and has a gorgeous golden door if you want it.
It is a beautiful and efficient free standing stove
delivering up to 30,000 BTU ‘s per hour and a single load of pellets in the 60 pound hopper will keep you warm and cozy for 40 hours. It can
use either standard or premium grade wood pellets.
Profile comes with a panoramic bay view of the fire
with a wide glass and also has gold details. It is sold with a wall mounted thermostat that will keep the temperature at you desired
setting.
There are two Profile models with one being slightly
larger than the other. Both are exceptional pellet stoves.
Whether you end up with the Cascade or the Profile you
can rest assured that you are getting a stove that was built with both pride and integrity.
When purchasing a pellet stove be sure and consider the
customer service you will be getting. Even though Whitfield is now a part of another company, the customer service remains as it ever
did…outstanding.
